We’re committed to Oxford North being an industry leader in delivering on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) charter commitments.
We are doing this by aligning the planning, procurement and delivery of every element of the project focusing on six key pillars. Oxford North has been designed by a world-leading team of masterplanners, architects, and specialist consultants, ensuring it connects and enhances the local area with open spaces, public art, events and culture.
Progress is measured via regular ESG reporting on performance data, benchmarking and performance as set against our priorities through our six pillars. By constantly adapting and evolving our approach, we’ll ensure Oxford North will be an extraordinary place to live and work.
Environment
Towards net zero
Our ambition is to push beyond conventional practice and pursue a net positive development. We are creating a low carbon innovation district, following a Net Zero Carbon Pathway, employing circular design principles in construction and operation, and we will create a climate-resilient and biodiverse district.

Creating opportunities and shared prosperity
We are creating a welcoming and healthy place, in construction and operation, that fosters mental health, wellbeing, productivity and innovation; we are investing significantly in local transport to ensure safer and more convenient connectivity, and providing local employment opportunities and shared prosperity.

to successfully integrate and deliver our ESG Strategy. We are focused on leadership and culture, embedding governance into the delivery process and building capacity and capability with our team and wider consultancy team to ensure we successfully deliver.
